Man in Oriental Costume (King Uzziah Stricken by Leprosy) - Rembrandt van Rijn - Hand Painted Oil Painting
About This Piece
Man in Oriental Costume (King Uzziah Stricken by Leprosy) - Rembrandt van Rijn - Hand Painted Oil Painting suits both traditional and modern interiors. As a fine art oil painting, it works as a standalone focal point or as part of a hallway gallery wall, and unlike a print it is genuinely hand painted in oils.
Composition & Subject
circa 1635-1639
Oil on board
103 cm (40.55 in.) x 79 cm (31.1 in.)
Chatsworth House (Devonshire Collection), United Kingdom.
Every hand painted oil painting in this fine art series is finished on artist-grade canvas and checked against the original before it leaves the studio.
100% Hand Painted on Canvas
From primer to varnish, the work is done manually on artist-grade canvas. The absence of digital printing is deliberate: it keeps the fine art brushwork visible and gives the classical oil painting wall decor a museum-like finish.
