Poiret's Models in Deauville - Raoul Dufy - Hand Painted Oil Painting
Product Overview
Nothing softens a gallery wall like a painted surface. Poiret's Models in Deauville by Raoul Dufy arrives as a hand painted oil painting on canvas, offering the fine art detail, soft gradients, and tactile finish that fine art oil painting shoppers look for.
Composition & Subject
Les mannequins de Poiret à Deauville, 1941
gouache, watercolour and pencil on paper
Private collection.
As gallery wall art, the piece pairs naturally with other fauvist wall art and with warm neutrals, timber, and soft natural light.
Materials & Craftsmanship
Oil on canvas remains the reference standard for fauvist reproductions. Our artists apply pigment by hand, blending the fine art tones directly on the surface for depth that a printed fine art oil painting simply cannot match.
