Portrait of a Man (1632) by Rembrandt van Rijn

Portrait of a Man (1632) - Rembrandt van Rijn - Oil Painting

Product Overview

Upgrade your walls with Portrait of a Man (1632) - Rembrandt van Rijn - Oil Painting. Every figurative reproduction is painted entirely by hand, so the surface carries the depth and variation of an original oil painting rather than the flatness of a digital canvas print.

The Story Behind the Painting

1632
Oil on panel
Herzog Anton Ulrich Museum, Brunswick, Germany.

Every hand painted oil painting in this figurative series is finished on artist-grade canvas and checked against the original before it leaves the studio.

Materials & Craftsmanship

This is a genuine hand painted oil painting, not a canvas print. Our painters match the palette of Portrait of a Man (1632) by eye and build up the figurative forms in thin layers, which is what gives the finished portrait oil painting its luminosity.
