Portrait of Marten Soolmans - Rembrandt van Rijn - Canvas Oil Painting
About This Piece
Choose Portrait of Marten Soolmans as a hand painted oil painting and skip the compromise of printed wall decor. Based on Rembrandt van Rijn's original. Our artists rebuild the figurative composition stroke by stroke, producing classical canvas wall art with lasting color depth.
The Story Behind the Painting
1634
Oil on canvas
207 cm (81.5 in.) x 132 cm (51.97 in.)
Private collection.
As hallway wall art, the piece pairs naturally with other classical wall art and with warm neutrals, timber, and soft natural light.
