Portrait of N.I. Zelenskaya - Boris Kustodiev - Vintage Oil Painting
About This Piece
Nothing softens a living room like a painted surface. Portrait of N.I. Zelenskaya by Boris Kustodiev arrives as a hand painted oil painting on canvas, offering the figurative detail, soft gradients, and tactile finish that portrait oil painting shoppers look for.
Composition & Subject
1912
Oil on canvas
The Kustodiev Picture Gallery, Astrakhan, Russia.
Every hand painted oil painting in this figurative series is finished on artist-grade canvas and checked against the original before it leaves the studio.
How It Is Made
From primer to varnish, the work is done manually on artist-grade canvas. The absence of digital printing is deliberate: it keeps the figurative brushwork visible and gives the vintage oil painting wall decor a museum-like finish.
