About the Artwork
1915
Oil on cardboard laid down on plywood
105 cm (41.34 in.) x 75 cm (29.53 in.)
Musee de l'Orangerie, France.
Every hand painted oil painting in this figurative series is finished on artist-grade canvas and checked against the original before it leaves the studio.
How It Is Made
Oil on canvas remains the reference standard for modern reproductions. Our artists apply pigment by hand, blending the figurative tones directly on the surface for depth that a printed portrait oil painting simply cannot match.
Product Details
- A true oil-on-canvas painting produced manually by our artists — not a mass-produced print.
