Portrait of the Commandant of the Mariinsky Palace, Major-General Pavel Shevelev - Boris Kustodiev - Oil Painting Wall Decor
About This Piece
Portrait of the Commandant of the Mariinsky Palace, Major-General Pavel Shevelev - Boris Kustodiev - Oil Painting Wall Decor suits both traditional and modern interiors. As a portrait oil painting, it works as a standalone focal point or as part of a home office gallery wall, and unlike a print it is genuinely hand painted in oils.
The Story Behind the Painting
Painted by hand after Boris Kustodiev, this figurative scene keeps the warmth of the original while gaining the durability of a modern canvas support. It is frequently chosen as office wall decor and as portrait oil painting for hallways, studies, and open-plan living spaces.
Materials & Craftsmanship
Trained artists work in stages — underpainting, mid-tones, highlights, and detail — using traditional oils on canvas. Because nothing is printed, every hand painted oil painting has its own subtle texture and depth.
What Is Included
- Every figurative canvas is hand painted in oils; no mechanical or digital reproduction at any stage.
- Edges include an additional 2-inch blank allowance, ideal for gallery wrapping or framing.
- We dispatch worldwide ourselves, so there are no middlemen in the chain.
- Available canvas sizes for this hand painted oil painting: 20 X 24 in, 24 X 36 in, 30 X 40 in, 36 X 48 in, 48 X 72 in.
- Custom sizes available: order this painting in your preferred dimensions.
- Choose from DHL, UPS, FedEx, USPS and other competitively priced carriers.
