Portrait of the Dortrecht Merchant Jacob Trip - Rembrandt van Rijn - Entryway Wall Decor
Product Overview

The Story Behind the Painting
circa 1661
131 cm (51.57 in.) x 97 cm (38.19 in.)
National Gallery - London, England.
The figurative subject is rebuilt stroke by stroke in oil, giving the finished canvas the depth expected of classical oil painting wall decor.
Materials & Craftsmanship
Trained artists work in stages — underpainting, mid-tones, highlights, and detail — using traditional oils on canvas. Because nothing is printed, every hand painted oil painting has its own subtle texture and depth.
