Project for the Bar of the Palais Chaillot - Raoul Dufy - Hand Painted Oil Painting
Product Overview
Nothing softens an entryway like a painted surface. Project for the Bar of the Palais Chaillot by Raoul Dufy arrives as a hand painted oil painting on canvas, offering the fine art detail, soft gradients, and tactile finish that fine art oil painting shoppers look for.
The Story Behind the Painting
Projet pour le bar du Palais Chaillot, 1938
gouache and watercolour on paper
Private collection.
As entryway wall decor, the piece pairs naturally with other fauvist wall art and with warm neutrals, timber, and soft natural light.
How It Is Made
Materials matter for fauvist wall decor. That is why this piece is built on artist-grade canvas with lightfast oil colors, applied by hand rather than output from a printer, and sealed for long-term display.
