Oil on canvas
Munch-museet, Oslo, Norway.
Collectors often choose this figurative image when searching for portrait oil painting that feels substantial rather than decorative or disposable.
This is a genuine hand painted oil painting, not a canvas print. Our painters match the palette of Self-Portrait against a Green Background by eye and build up the figurative forms in thin layers, which is what gives the finished portrait oil painting its luminosity.
Hang this portrait oil painting above a sofa, console, or bed to give a living room an instant focal point. Its expressionist palette works with both minimalist and period interiors, and the piece also makes a considered gift for housewarmings, weddings, and art lovers.
In short: Self-Portrait against a Green Background - Edvard Munch - Expressionist Canvas Wall Art combines an expressionist composition, a 100% hand painted oil painting process, and the flexibility of made-to-order canvas sizes — a dependable choice for portrait oil painting and living room wall decor.
