Self Portrait with Beret and Gold Chain - Rembrandt van Rijn - Hand Painted Oil Painting
Product Overview
Self Portrait with Beret and Gold Chain - Rembrandt van Rijn - Hand Painted Oil Painting suits both traditional and modern interiors. As a portrait oil painting, it works as a standalone focal point or as part of a hallway gallery wall, and unlike a print it is genuinely hand painted in oils.
The Story Behind the Painting
circa 1630-1631
Oil on board
70 cm (27.56 in.) x 57 cm (22.44 in.)
Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool, United Kingdom.
As hallway wall art, the piece pairs naturally with other classical wall art and with warm neutrals, timber, and soft natural light.
100% Hand Painted on Canvas
Each canvas is painted entirely by hand with professional oil paints on artist-grade cotton canvas. No printing, giclée, or digital imaging is used at any stage, so the surface keeps the slight relief and color variation of real brushwork.
