Senora Sabasa Garcia - Francisco de Goya - Canvas Oil Painting is part of our hand painted oil painting collection from the Francisco de Goya Paintings selection. Each canvas is worked by a trained artist, then inspected before dispatch — a practical route to owning classical wall decor at a fraction of gallery pricing.
circa 1806-1811
Oil on canvas
National Gallery of Art - Washington DC, United States.
It is said that Goya customarily painted a portrait in a single sitting. Looking at this marvellously spontaneous and fluent example, which has been regarded as one of Goya's most accomplished portraits, one can believe it. A comparison with the portraits of twenty years ealier shows how the puppet-like formula has given place to the realism of 19th century painting.
As entryway wall decor, the piece pairs naturally with other classical wall art and with warm neutrals, timber, and soft natural light.
Each canvas is painted entirely by hand with professional oil paints on artist-grade cotton canvas. No printing, giclée, or digital imaging is used at any stage, so the surface keeps the slight relief and color variation of real brushwork.
This fine art oil painting wall decor is equally at home in a residence, a boutique hotel, or a professional office. Its classical character makes it a safe, distinctive gift for anyone furnishing an entryway.
In short: Senora Sabasa Garcia - Francisco de Goya - Canvas Oil Painting combines a classical composition, a 100% hand painted oil painting process, and the flexibility of made-to-order canvas sizes — a dependable choice for fine art oil painting and entryway wall decor.
