Trouble Hunters - Charles Marion Russell - Fine Art Oil Painting Wall Decor suits both traditional and modern interiors. As a fine art oil painting, it works as a standalone focal point or as part of a bedroom gallery wall, and unlike a print it is genuinely hand painted in oils.

Oil on canvas
22 inches x 29 1/8 inches.
While raiding parties tended to be small and stealthy, these advance scouts carry weapons that suggest they are out for blood and would welcome a fight. Apparently they have spotted something and are waiting for the others to catch up. Russell often set scenes like this at day's end and in later works the Indians became almost unthreatening as they basked in the sun's fading warmth, perfect symbols of Russell's own nostalgia for the vanished West. Here, although the sky is roseate and the setting sun washes the men in pinks and reds, they exude menace and appear lean, tough and full of fight.
As bedroom wall art, the piece pairs naturally with other timeless wall art and with warm neutrals, timber, and soft natural light.
This is a genuine hand painted oil painting, not a canvas print. Our painters match the palette of Trouble Hunters by eye and build up the fine art forms in thin layers, which is what gives the finished fine art oil painting its luminosity.
Hang this fine art oil painting above a sofa, console, or bed to give a bedroom an instant focal point. Its timeless palette works with both minimalist and period interiors, and the piece also makes a considered gift for housewarmings, weddings, and art lovers.
In short: Trouble Hunters - Charles Marion Russell - Fine Art Oil Painting Wall Decor combines a timeless composition, a 100% hand painted oil painting process, and the flexibility of made-to-order canvas sizes — a dependable choice for fine art oil painting and bedroom wall art.
