Youths on the Beach (The Freia Frieze XII) - Edvard Munch - Seascape Canvas Wall Art
About This Piece
Youths on the Beach (The Freia Frieze XII) by Edvard Munch is one of those images that never dates. Our studio recreates it as a hand painted oil painting — textured, color-rich, and ready to hang as canvas wall art in a hallway, study, or reception area.
The Story Behind the Painting
1922
Oil on canvas
134 cm (52.76 in.) x 280 cm (110.24 in.)
Private collection.
Every hand painted oil painting in this seascape series is finished on artist-grade canvas and checked against the original before it leaves the studio.
How It Is Made
Trained artists work in stages — underpainting, mid-tones, highlights, and detail — using traditional oils on canvas. Because nothing is printed, every hand painted oil painting has its own subtle texture and depth.
