The Story Behind the Painting
1910
Oil on canvas
71 x 49.5 cm (27.95 x 19.49 in)
Private collection von Thyssen.
As living room wall decor, the piece pairs naturally with other expressionist wall art and with warm neutrals, timber, and soft natural light.
100% Hand Painted on Canvas
Trained artists work in stages — underpainting, mid-tones, highlights, and detail — using traditional oils on canvas. Because nothing is printed, every hand painted oil painting has its own subtle texture and depth.
