Nudes in a Meadow - Ernst Ludwig Kirchner - Hand Painted Oil Painting suits both traditional and modern interiors. As a portrait oil painting, it works as a standalone focal point or as part of a dining room gallery wall, and unlike a print it is genuinely hand painted in oils.
ca 1929
Oil on canvas
73 x 81 cm
Bundner Kunstmuseum Chur.
The figurative subject is rebuilt stroke by stroke in oil, giving the finished canvas the depth expected of expressionist oil painting wall decor.
This is a genuine hand painted oil painting, not a canvas print. Our painters match the palette of Nudes in a Meadow by eye and build up the figurative forms in thin layers, which is what gives the finished portrait oil painting its luminosity.
Hang this portrait oil painting above a sofa, console, or bed to give a dining room an instant focal point. Its expressionist palette works with both minimalist and period interiors, and the piece also makes a considered gift for housewarmings, weddings, and art lovers.
