Nothing softens a hallway like a painted surface. Springtime by Claude Monet arrives as a hand painted oil painting on canvas, offering the fine art detail, soft gradients, and tactile finish that fine art oil painting shoppers look for.

Oil on canvas

Fitzwilliam Museum, England.
Claude Monet painted Springtime in 1886. When he settled in Giverny, Monet rediscovered the domestic contentment he had so valued during his early years in Argenteuil. Alice Hoschedé was an excellent and patient companion, and their children often joined him when he went out to the fields to paint.
Here, his older son, Jean, and Alice's second youngest daughter, Suzanne, sit under the white petals of a fruit tree in full flower. The color sparkles, capturing the refreshing quality of the clear spring air.
Our artists reproduce this fine art composition in oil on canvas by hand, preserving the tonal range that makes fine art oil painting so sought after for a hallway.
Expect subtle, hand-made variation rather than factory uniformity. Each fine art canvas is painted with oils, allowed to cure properly, and inspected before it is approved for shipment.
Wondering where fine art oil painting looks best? Try a hallway mantel, a dining room sideboard, or a hallway gallery wall. The fine art subject reads clearly from a distance and rewards close viewing up near.
Order Springtime as a hand painted oil painting on canvas and add lasting impressionist character to your hallway. Custom sizes, a digital proof before dispatch, and secure worldwide shipping are included.
