Musée d'Orsay, France.
Claude Monet completed The Bark at Giverny in 1887. That summer, he painted the daughters of companion Alice Hoschedé on the river in his rowboat.
In some paintings the girls are fishing; in others they simply relax in the warmth of the sun. One of the daughters, Blanche, a promising young painter, often assisted her stepfather (Monet and Alice would wed in 1892). She carried Monet's canvases, preparing his palette, or painting at his side.
Our artists reproduce this fine art composition in oil on canvas by hand, preserving the tonal range that makes fine art oil painting so sought after for a gallery wall.
Each canvas is painted entirely by hand with professional oil paints on artist-grade cotton canvas. No printing, giclée, or digital imaging is used at any stage, so the surface keeps the slight relief and color variation of real brushwork.
This fine art oil painting wall decor is equally at home in a residence, a boutique hotel, or a professional office. Its impressionist character makes it a safe, distinctive gift for anyone furnishing a gallery wall.
In short: The Bark at Giverny - Claude Monet - Fine Art Oil Painting combines an impressionist composition, a 100% hand painted oil painting process, and the flexibility of made-to-order canvas sizes — a dependable choice for fine art oil painting and gallery wall art.
