Woman Taking up Her Hair - Paul Signac - Oil Painting Wall Decor
At a Glance
Woman Taking up Her Hair - Paul Signac - Oil Painting Wall Decor suits both traditional and modern interiors. As a portrait oil painting, it works as a standalone focal point or as part of a home office gallery wall, and unlike a print it is genuinely hand painted in oils.
About the Artwork
Woman Arranging Her Hair, Opus 227 (Arabesques for a Dressing Room)
1892
Oil on canvas
59 cm (23.23 in.) x 70 cm (27.56 in.)
Private collection.
As office wall decor, the piece pairs naturally with other post-impressionist wall art and with warm neutrals, timber, and soft natural light.
Materials & Craftsmanship
From primer to varnish, the work is done manually on artist-grade canvas. The absence of digital printing is deliberate: it keeps the figurative brushwork visible and gives the post-impressionist oil painting wall decor a museum-like finish.
