Half-Figure of an Angel (after Rembrandt) - Vincent van Gogh - Post-Impressionist Oil Painting
At a Glance
Half-Figure of an Angel (after Rembrandt) by Vincent van Gogh is one of those images that never dates. Our studio recreates it as a hand painted oil painting — textured, color-rich, and ready to hang as canvas wall art in a bedroom, study, or reception area.
About the Artwork
September, 1889
Oil on canvas
54 cm (21.26 in.) x 64 cm (25.2 in.)
Private collection.
The figurative subject is rebuilt stroke by stroke in oil, giving the finished canvas the depth expected of post-impressionist oil painting wall decor.
Materials & Craftsmanship
Each canvas is painted entirely by hand with professional oil paints on artist-grade cotton canvas. No printing, giclée, or digital imaging is used at any stage, so the surface keeps the slight relief and color variation of real brushwork.
