Vincent van Gogh painted Large Plane Trees in 1889. Here, Vincent restricted his palette to shades of yellow, recalling the chromatic experiments of the sunflowers. Hints of green on the ground and in the tree trunks cool the tonality of Large Plane Trees, while the branches in the right distance flame brightly in autumnal orange. Vincent van Gogh's color modifications and his expressive contours of the twisting branches indicate the overwhelming energy of nature, in contrast to the static blocks of masonry that line the road.
Collectors often choose this landscape image when searching for landscape oil painting that feels substantial rather than decorative or disposable.
This is a genuine hand painted oil painting, not a canvas print. Our painters match the palette of Large Plane Trees 1889 by eye and build up the landscape forms in thin layers, which is what gives the finished landscape oil painting its luminosity.
Hang this landscape oil painting above a sofa, console, or bed to give a living room an instant focal point. Its post-impressionist palette works with both minimalist and period interiors, and the piece also makes a considered gift for housewarmings, weddings, and art lovers.
In short: Large Plane Trees 1889 - Vincent van Gogh - Hand Painted Oil Painting combines a post-impressionist composition, a 100% hand painted oil painting process, and the flexibility of made-to-order canvas sizes — a dependable choice for landscape oil painting and living room wall decor.
