The Potato Peeler (obverse: Self-Portrait with a Straw Hat) - Vincent van Gogh - Oil Painting Wall Decor
Product Overview
The Potato Peeler (obverse: Self-Portrait with a Straw Hat) - Vincent van Gogh - Oil Painting Wall Decor suits both traditional and modern interiors. As a portrait oil painting, it works as a standalone focal point or as part of a dining room gallery wall, and unlike a print it is genuinely hand painted in oils.
Composition & Subject
1885
Oil on canvas
Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, United States.
Our artists reproduce this figurative composition in oil on canvas by hand, preserving the tonal range that makes portrait oil painting so sought after for a dining room.
100% Hand Painted on Canvas
Trained artists work in stages — underpainting, mid-tones, highlights, and detail — using traditional oils on canvas. Because nothing is printed, every hand painted oil painting has its own subtle texture and depth.
